MELUVERA is an evidence-first AI content research and publishing project. This Privacy Policy explains how personal information may be processed when you visit the site, submit a contact request, or communicate with MELUVERA.

1. Purposes of processing

  • Operate, secure, and maintain the MELUVERA website.
  • Receive and respond to factual correction, source, copyright, rights, and privacy requests.
  • Investigate reported issues and maintain an appropriate correction or rights-handling audit trail.
  • Detect abuse, spam, fraud, or security incidents and protect the integrity of the publishing process.

2. Categories of information processed

The Contact / Rights & Correction Requests form asks for request type, name, email address, an affected-content URL when provided, and message content. WordPress.com form processing may also record submission metadata such as the submission date and time, source form, IP address, browser/device information, and other technical data needed to operate and secure the service.

WordPress.com may also automatically process technical and usage information about site visitors, including IP address, browser and device information, referring pages, access times, cookies or similar technologies, and approximate location derived from IP address. The exact information depends on the WordPress.com services active on this site.

3. Retention period

Routine contact and form records are deleted or anonymized without undue delay once the request has been resolved and the information is no longer needed for the stated purposes. If a limited follow-up period is reasonably necessary for duplicate-request handling, quality verification, abuse prevention, or a correction audit, MELUVERA reviews the record and keeps it for no longer than 90 days after resolution unless a verified legal obligation, rights or privacy dispute, or other documented hold requires longer retention.

Platform providers may maintain technical logs, backups, caches, or service records for periods described in their own privacy documentation. Those provider-controlled retention periods can differ from MELUVERA’s operational 90-day limit.

4. Destruction procedure and method

When personal information is no longer required, MELUVERA removes the relevant form response and unnecessary mailbox copies. Items placed in a platform Trash area are permanently deleted when the retention decision is final and no legal or dispute-related hold applies. Electronic records under MELUVERA’s control are deleted so they are not reasonably recoverable through normal account functions. Records that must be retained under applicable law are separated from routine records where practicable.

5. Service providers and processing on our behalf

  • Automattic / WordPress.com — website hosting, form processing and response storage, security, traffic measurement, cookies, and platform functions.
  • Zoho Corporation / Zoho Mail — hosting and delivery of the dedicated privacy mailbox privacy@meluvera.com.

MELUVERA does not sell contact-form personal information. Information may be disclosed when required by applicable law or when necessary to handle a request initiated by the requester.

6. International processing

The dedicated MELUVERA mailbox is currently hosted through the Zoho Mail United States data center. Contact-email content and associated mail metadata may therefore be transmitted electronically to and stored in the United States when messages are delivered, stored, or sent through that mailbox. The recipient service provider is Zoho Corporation, and the purpose is email hosting and communication for privacy, rights, and correction requests. MELUVERA deletes operational mailbox copies according to the retention rule above, subject to provider backup, security, and legal-retention practices.

Automattic Inc. / WordPress.com may process and store visitor technical data, form submissions, and related site information on infrastructure located in the United States and the European Union. WordPress.com states that personal data associated with a site cannot be restricted to a single geographic location and that sites may move between data centers for operational reasons. The transfer or remote processing occurs electronically when visitors use the site or submit a form. The purposes include website hosting, security, form processing and response storage, traffic measurement, cookies, and other platform functions. Provider-controlled retention, backup, and subprocessors are governed by Automattic’s applicable privacy and service documentation.

7. Your rights and how to exercise them

Subject to applicable law, you and, where applicable, your lawful representative may request access, correction, deletion, suspension of processing, or other available privacy rights concerning personal information handled by MELUVERA. Requests may be submitted through the Contact / Rights & Correction Requests form or by email at privacy@meluvera.com. MELUVERA may request only the information reasonably necessary to verify and handle the request.

8. Data minimization and sensitive information

Please do not submit passwords, payment information, government identification numbers, medical records, or other highly sensitive information through the contact form. MELUVERA requests only the information reasonably needed to understand and handle the issue.

9. Cookies, automatic collection, and platform advertising

WordPress.com may use cookies and similar technologies for security, functionality, measurement, preferences, and advertising-related platform purposes. Because MELUVERA currently uses a free WordPress.com site, WordPress.com or its advertising partners may display platform-selected advertisements. MELUVERA does not currently select those advertisements or receive advertising revenue from them. Available WordPress.com privacy or ad-choice controls may allow visitors to manage certain choices.

10. Security measures

MELUVERA applies access restriction, separate administrative and public-facing mail identities, dedicated privacy-mail routing, authenticated mail controls including SPF, DKIM, and DMARC, encrypted service connections where provided by the platform, data minimization, and periodic review and deletion of records. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.

12. Privacy contact and policy changes
